That was my final day as an intern in HSBC. I was in HSBC Taipan, Subang Jaya branch for 11 weeks, starting from 7 December 2009 till 19th February 2010. Part of me is glad that I'm leaving because I really miss being a student. Really dislike the politics but well, I know it is inevitable. I managed to learn a little on how to deal with politics. Some people are hypocrites, some are uncooperative and some are plain lazy. Am happy that I met various kind of people with different character and attitudes, from customers to colleagues to superiors.
But I am sad as I would be leaving some of my really nice and good colleagues. Will definitely miss them. Would be missing the salary too of course.
Overall, I am happy with my internship as I gave it my best and had no regrets. Managed to have a glimpse on the reality and cruelness of the working world. Eye opener indeed! A good learning experience for me. It was worth the 11 weeks I would say. In university,I can learn to be Book Smart but through internship, I can learn to be Street Smart.

Finally I get to wake up super late on a Monday. Woke up bout 11am. Was so bored, so I watched How I Met Your Mother for the whole afternoon. Almost done with the series, now already in Season 4. About 10 more episodes to go!

23rd February 2010
This is a very exciting day. Woke up early about 5am to go jungle trekking in Gasing Hill with Choo Xiang, Aaron Yip, Lin Yi and Alwin. Then went back home take a short 1 hour nap and off I went to HSBC Taipan, Subang Jaya to visit my colleagues and also to see the Lion Dance in the bank.

After that, I went to Taylor's Lake Side for an hour to visit friends and walk around. Surprisingly, as I parked my car, Lin Yi also parked her car beside me. What a coincidence. Anyway, after Taylor's, I headed to One Utama to watch Lighting Thief with Joanna, James and (I'm sorry I forgotten his name. I suck at remembering Chinese names). The show was good to me because there are mystical creatures like Medusa, Magnataur, Hydra, Hell Hound, etc.

After that, went home to shower and have dinner then off I go to "bai nian" and gambling session. Once again, I lost. Haha. So far all the times I gambled during CNY period, I have lost all my gambling sessions. Oh well, only once a year right? =] and it is the fellowship that matters most. I really did enjoy myself there.
24th February 2010
Morning I went to JPJ to renew my driving license as it is going to expire on 4th March 2010. Sadly, I wasn't able to do so because drivers are only permitted to renew their license 6 days before it expires. Wasted 30 minutes waiting. Aih. On the way back, I passed by around my high school area, so I just detoured to Samad. Had a little chat with my ex-teachers and then it is lunch time.

Since Samad is near Asia Assistance (located in Jaya One), I went there to visit my ex-colleagues and have lunch with them. After that, on the way home, I noticed my car is dirty, so I sent it for car wash and vacuum. RM10, 40 minutes? Since the car wash place is near Guardian, I went to Guardian to buy nail clippers, and other stuffs. And that is it! One whole morning and afternoon gone!
25th February 2010
Woke up at 4.30am just to go hiking at Broga Hill. After breakfast in Semenyih, we started our hike about 6.30am. Had lots of fun taking pictures, laughing at my friend for vomiting, carving our names on a tree, the fresh air and also the fellowship. Sadly, according to locals, Broga Hill caught fire just yesterday night! Some idiot smoker didn't kill his cigarette bud properly and it started the fire. This morning we went, there were burnt marks everywhere! Sad to see such things. Aih. It was a nice hike and I am glad I get to go there for the second time! =]

*picture before it was burnt, taken from Internet*
(sorry, the pictures are still in Choo Xiang's camera).
